The proposed location for the Ireland Monument is STANLEY PARK, VANCOUVER, CANADA.This park is the site of historic monuments of distinction and is the home of sporting and cultural activities in Greater Vancouver. It is the popular destination of families throughout the region and also the ’must see’ destination of visitors from across the nation and around the world.
NEWS UPDATE: The Ireland Monument Committee met with the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation on February 13th, 2008 and the Ireland Monument design was submitted for review.
The Ireland Monument Committee and the Families of Air India Flight 182 now look forward to the completion of the Ireland Monument in close proximity to the Air India Memorial in Stanley Park, Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
